Jessica's Summer Favorites
Color, Color, Color make a big splash with annuals such as sun loving petunias, sun impatiens, and blue daze. Low maintenance plants are my favorite during summer months, as I rather spend time with family than spent time being my plants' shadow.
Enjoy perennials with large impact with Jack's Giant Colocasia and Alocasia. Providing a tropical feel during the summer while disappearing during the winter to have my southern garden shine during the cold season.
Herbs make an awesome addition to your annual beds while providing function and beauty. Using red and blue basil gives movement in the garden while providing fresh flavor to my salads, or grilled fish.
