What is the light in the location you are adding the houseplant? Knowing what type of light is in an area will ensure the plant’s success for you. If the area is bright and warm from the sun this area will do best with sun tolerant plants, while if an area is bright but not warm by the sun this is an area for indirect/shade plants.
